Islam Mein Irtdad Ki Saza Ki Haqeeqat (Urdu) (The Truth About The Alleged Punishment for Apostasy in Islam)
Over many centuries, so-called Muslim scholars adopted some coloured Islamic interpretations for the sake of their own socio-political interests. Unfortunately, they ignored the clear teachings of the Holy Quran, the sayings and traditions of the Holy Prophet (sa). Amongst many of their misrepresented subjects is the punishment for apostasy in Islam. In fact, this menacing tenet, orchestrated by such so-called scholars, is based neither on the Holy Quran nor on the practice of the Holy Prophet (sa). Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (rh), the fourth successor of the Promised Messiah (as), delivered a remarkable address at the Jalsa Salana UK on the 27th of July 1986 and put this heinous tenet to test. He showed it to be an utterly false and unfounded belief in the beautiful and peaceful teachings of Islam. He smashed once and for all the arguments presented by the so-called Islamic scholars in support of their claim. He based his arguments on the Holy Quran, the practice and sayings of the Holy Prophet of Islam (sa), and the historical events that took place in the eras of the four rightly guided Caliphs (ra). Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (rh) deals with this subject extensively and in great depth. This address will help unbiased researchers to fully understand the true teachings of Islam on this subject.
