Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih IV (rh), was the grandson and fourth Khalifa (Successor) of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah (as). An avid reader and an accomplished poet, he possessed a keen intellect, witty sense of humour, and an inexhaustible store of energy. He spoke and wrote extensively on a wide range of spiritual and secular subjects. Under his inspired leadership, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community made tremendous progress.
