One of the outstanding personalities of the nineteenth century, apart from the advent of the Promised Messiah(as) himself, was an Illustrious
figure of Hazrat Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen(ra), who later became the First Caliph of the Promised Messiah(as).
Many books have appeared on the Life and Works of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih I(ra), and each has generated a thirst for more about a person who was completely immersed in the love of God, Islam, the Holy Prophet(sa), the Holy Qur'an and the Hadith.
This book is replete with accounts of how at every step and every period of his life, Hazrat Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen(ra) became a visible recipient of divine favours.
This biography is based on research work done by Muhammad Idrees, who prepared a thesis for his degree of Master of Art in History from Punjab University in 1980. The thesis was in Urdu, and carried a bibliography of 120 books in Urdu and English. This book, while based on the thesis, has been thoroughly edited and revised, and some material has also been added. The additions or excisions were made to enhance the true greatness of a person who had always been an inspiration and generated an implicit and total trust in the Divine Grace.
